Stéphane Boisvert, Chairman

In August 2006, Stéphane Boisvert was named President of Bell Canada's Enterprise group. Mr. Boisvert spent 20 years at IBM and Sun Microsystems. As Senior Vice-President, Global Client Solutions Sales at Sun, Mr. Boisvert was responsible for the company’s global technical sales force and professional services. During this period he also served as Chairman of Sun Microsystems Canada. Selected as one of Canada’s “Top 40 under 40” in 2000, Mr. Boisvert’s experience includes leadership roles in management, sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions and lead executive responsibility for integrating acquisitions. A native of Montréal, Mr. Boisvert is a graduate of McGill University. Mr. Boisvert currently serves as a Director of the Board of the Montreal Heart Institute and of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Sainte-Justine.

 

 

 

David Ticoll, Executive Director

In November 2008 David was appointed Executive Director of the Canadian Coalition for Tomorrow’s ICT Skills. David’s consulting, research and policy focus is on globalization, open and innovative business models, the changing workforce, outsourcing and offshoring, productivity, transparency, corporate social responsibility, labour market strategy, and national competitiveness. He has authored several bestselling business books, including Digital Capital: Harnessing the Power of Business Webs, and The Naked Corporation: How the Age of Transparency will Revolutionize Business. From 2003 to 2008, David chaired the Expert Panel of the Information & Communications Technology Council. He was Senior Vice President of Research at New Paradigm Corp. from 2003 to 2007. David was founding CEO of the international think tank and consulting firm, Digital 4Sight from 1994-2001. He was also a columnist at the Globe and Mail and tele.com. He founded the Canadian program of Gartner Group in the early 1980s. David has a BA (Honours) from McGill University in sociology and political science, and has pursued graduate work in communications, information systems and marketing research.
